Hormone Therapy Costs - HRT Treatment Schedule

Annual Consultation £250

During your BHRT consultation appointment, Deborah will spend time taking a full medical history and recording all the symptoms that you may be experiencing before starting any hormone therapy.

You will be also be given the opportunity to ask any questions regarding bio-identical hormone therapy and your BHRT treatment here at the clinic.

We can not prescribe Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy without an  annual consultation and six month telephone review appointment. The review gives Deborah an opportunity to assess your symptoms and possibly adjust your prescription for the following six months.

Annual Blood Test, Analysis & Prescription £245

Following your initial hormone therapy consultation, Deborah will need to perform a blood test to determine your current hormone levels; the results from this will also act as a baseline.

Blood tests are taken and analysed annually to maintain your optimum hormone levels and make any changes to your prescription if needed.

We can now send easy to follow at home blood kit out in the post if you having a telephone consultation and can not attend the clinic.

Alternatively you can also attend the laboratory on Wimpole Street in London with a letter from us to have your blood sample taken.

Telephone Consultation (one week after your Consultation & Blood Tests) no cost

During this telephone appointment, Deborah will give you the results of the blood tests from your first consultation. She will then advise you of any medication that is needed, and address any symptoms identified by your blood results and symptoms.

Should treatment be required, Deborah will write and order your personalised prescription and instruct you how to contact the Compounding Pharmacy to order your medication. Depending on your prescription, it will usually last for two months.

Two Month Review (via telephone) no cost

This review will enable Deborah to assess your progress and make any adjustments to your HRT medication as necessary. Deborah will write a further two prescriptions, lasting for four months.

You will have the opportunity to ask any further questions that you may have regarding your BHRT treatment.

Six Month Review (either via telephone or clinic visit) £130
(£245 if further blood tests required)

This six-month review will enable Deborah to give you a full assessment of your hormone treatment and to perform any further testing if required and to determine your progress.

Deborah may also advise additional testing, such as a mammogram, depending on your symptoms and test results. We have the facility to refer you if required to appropriate trusted partners if necessary.

Ongoing Reviews (via telephone) – 15 minute call £25

This will enable Deborah to review your progress and make any adjustments to your treatment plan.

BHRT Pricing

Throughout your journey at The Menopause Clinic, you will consult with Deborah in the clinic, or via the telephone, as well as having blood tests to help her diagnose and treat your symptoms.

Please note: blood tests are charged separately and the cost of your medication is payable to the Compounding Pharmacy which may vary between £70 and £120 every two months depending on your prescription.
